Urban Track capsules offer a travel experience equivalent to a private car in terms of comfort, as they are user-friendly, fast, and personal modes of transportation. Passengers can board the capsule at any time of the day, and there is no idle time.

The capsules are available for private use and can accommodate a maximum of two passengers at a time. Through the video connection between capsules, larger families and groups can travel together.

Traveling with the capsule saves a significant amount of time for the passenger. The air track does not have traffic lights, congestion, or accidents, and it is not affected by issues like flooded streets. Upon arriving at the station, the capsule moves aside from the main track. Continuing capsules do not wait in unnecessary queues or make unnecessary stops.

The capsule is faster than any urban transportation vehicle. In urban areas, its speed exceeds 60 km/h. For example, a journey from Hervanta to the center of Tampere takes seven minutes on the track, compared to 14 minutes by car and 25 minutes by tram.

Environmental impact and energy efficiency are taken into account in the design of the capsule. Automated capsules are battery-powered and operate with a few kilowatts of electric motor. Their energy consumption is comparable to an electric bicycle.

The safety of the capsules is ensured by sensors that prevent collisions between capsules. The capsule is lightweight and consists of parts that can be replaced and recycled as needed.”
